Overview

After Lead, I dared to accept the role "Minister of the Environment" because I felt much more confident about an integral approach to environmental problems and crucially, capable to construct and find solutions with other colleagues.

Module: Orientation (Virtual) 
Four weeks

  • Gain clarity on the programme objectives, structure and flow.
  • Get to know the programme faculty and the other participants.
  • Set personal learning objectives for your leadership journey within the programme.
  • Online learning through Learnscape – a learning platform that provides both online learning content as well as the virtual space to connect and interact with the other programme participants.
  • Prepare for the Leadership Challenge.

2. Module: Leadership Challenge (Residential) 
Five days

  • Explore sustainability leadership in action while tackling a real-life sustainable development issue on location in Europe.
  • Develop a set of leadership practices.
  • Apply Stakeholder Dialogue and Engagement practices across multiple sectors.
  • Apply Systems Thinking to identify option for effective change interventions
  • Use collaborative innovation tools to create team recommendations.
  • Gain skills and communication techniques for sustainable decision making and leadership.

3. Module: Lead Associate Project (Virtual)
Four months

  • Integrate the learnings from the Leadership Challenge back into your everyday life.
  • Design and develop a practical, action-oriented sustainability project with a small group of peers.
  • Dive deeper into a particular area of interest in the cross section of Leadership and Sustainability whilst gaining experience in collaboration and working across cultures, disciplines and distance.
  • Strengthen your leadership, group collaboration and action learning skills.

4. Module: Future Creation (Residential)
Five days

  • Capture your key learnings from the programme as a team and individuals.
  • Create a personal leadership manifesto. Create a positive vision for the future.
  • Deep your relationships and establish your peer network. Become part of the Lead Fellow Network.
  • Graduation and Celebration.
