Bios of course presenters:
Mehrdad Nazari (MSc, MBA, LEAD Fellow), Senior ESIA & CSR Advisor, Prizma LLC. Mehrdad has 17 years of experience in environmental and social risk assessments. This includes 10 years at the European Bank involved in $2+ billion extractive investment portfolio co-financed with IFC, ECAs and Equator Banks. Previously, Mehrdad was a Project Manager with Dames & Moore (now URS) and Director of CSR Research at CoreRatings (now Innovest and DNV).
Martin Birley (MS, PhD, DIC), Director, Birley HIA. Martin has over 20 years of experience in Health Impact Assessment and advised and provided training on HIA to Shell, BP, ENI, development banks, development agencies and governments. Martin's previous appointments include Senior Lecturer at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
