LMRCC
The Lakshadweep Marine Research and Conservation Centre (LMRCC) was established in January 2008 by young islanders who wanted to build on the results of 'Project Giant Clam'. The project, a Darwin Initiative that ran from April 2005 till April 2008, was an inspiration for all. LMRCC is the first organisation of its kind in Lakshadweep.
