Project Officer
Location: London
Salary: circa £28k per annum

Duration: Permanent full-time contract with 6 month review period
The LEAD network is a learning and support community of over 2000 sustainability leaders working in different sectors in 90 countries. LEAD projects aim to build up this network with new Fellows through our core training programmes, and engage existing Fellows in initiatives that further sustainable development on the ground.
We are looking for an assertive, highly organised and effective team-worker with experience of managing projects internationally. As LEAD projects often involve working with project teams in other countries, confidence working cross-culturally and proficiency in constructive problem solving are key attributes we are looking for in a LEAD Project Officer. A methodical approach to project management, excellent communication skills, and effective monitoring and reporting skills are also essential.
As we are a training organisation and many of our projects involve a training element, an interest in and experience of delivering training is highly desirable.
Job Purpose
The Project Officer will contribute to the efforts of the Project Delivery Team, in collaboration with all other teams at LEAD International, to deliver high quality project outputs and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships. The Project Officer will specifically focus on all aspects of project management for projects and activities under their supervision.
Key Responsibilities
To coordinate and manage multiple projects and project activities to meet the aims and specific outcomes of each project within a given time-frame and on-budget. Specifically, responsibilities within individual projects include:
• Establish effective ways of working and communication within project teams
• Manage/ deliver project activities against agreed budget and deadlines, possibly including design and delivery of training activities where appropriate
• Manage/conduct project monitoring and evaluation
• Report progress internally and externally
• Seek opportunities for enhancing project outcomes, longevity and profile
