Strengthening Cross-cultural Communication Skills
What are your cultural assumptions and how do these impact on your working relationships? How to improve the way you communicate in cross-cultural and diverse environments?
This workshop introduces participants to the key concepts of cross-cultural communication and explores how cultural differences impact on interpersonal communication and teamwork. Participants will explore cultural assumptions, and investigate stages of intercultural sensitivity. Simulations and group discussions will illustrate the key concepts and help participants to identify their own cross-cultural communication strengths and weaknesses as well as how to deal with cultural misunderstandings.
