Ethical Decision-Making for Sustainable Development
What are some of the ethical dilemmas that confront corporations, government, and the not-for-profit sector in achieving their missions? How do you reconcile the conflict of values present in ethical dilemmas? How do your own ethics and values influence your professional decision-making?
This course focuses on developing participants’ understanding of values, ethics, and the role they play in the decisions we make. Participants explore how to develop and use an ethical framework to guide their decision-making, to identify social dilemmas, and to mitigate possible conflict. Exercises, discussions, and examples help participants explore their ethical boundaries and understand how to make well-considered decisions in their professional lives.
