Bridging Leadership Programme, Indonesia, successfully finished

Ending in May 2011, LEAD International and Indonesia's Bridging Leadership Programme (BLP) in the Aceh region, Indonesia, has produced a group of youth (92 graduates) who have experienced significant change in their life as a result of the program.

LEAD Indonesia holds public seminar on the Green Economy

In a series of LEAD Associate Trainings for Cohort 16 with the theme of the Green Economy: Exploring Paths to Vibrant Future, LEAD Indonesia held a public seminar on 24 May 2011 in Jakarta to bridge the dialogue between the various sectors to understand the concepts, policies and mechanisms that try to apply by the Indonesian government.

LEAD Francophone Africa in Association with the LEAD Senegal National Association continues their periodic conferences on emerging development and leadership challenges in Africa.

The last conference was held on Saturday May 21, 2011 at the NOVOTEL Hotel in Dakar under the theme: Democracy and development: What lessons from the revolts in Arab countries for Africa.

LEAD Canada hosts the Training of Trainers for the 2011 International Session

LEAD Canada hosted a Training of Trainers session this April in preparation for the International Session. The event was held at Brookstreet Hotel in Ottawa, Canada, where the International Session will be taking place. More than 20 Fellows attended the weekend-long training to hone their facilitation skills and prepare for an exciting event in October. A special thanks to Edward Kellow who came from LEAD International to facilitate the training.

LEAD International delivers Action Lab

April 3-7 2011, Oxford, United Kingdom, LEAD International delivered a climate and development event, Action Lab, on behalf of the UKAid (DFID) funded Climate and Development Knowledge Network in conjunction with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Future Considerations, Reos Partners and the UKERC Meeting Place, ECI Oxford. The brainchild ofAlex Hannant, this event brought together over 150 sustainability professionals from multiple sectors and different nations with a focus on action and specific outputs, determined by the participants themselves.
