LEAD International has appointed Williams Johnson as Chief Executive with effect from 1st August 2012.

Williams was formerly Managing Director at The Great Place to Work Institute UK, where he led a management buy-out before successfully returning the organisation to profit and significantly enhancing its scale.

Commenting on the appointment, Roland Kupers, Chair of LEAD International said: “Williams’ personal affinity with LEAD’s objectives, his fluency in four languages and high profile experience will help project the truly international status of the LEAD network. The Board is eagerly looking forward to working with him and enhancing the opportunities for the LEAD network.”

Williams has a strong record of establishing and delivering results through partnerships, including programmes with the Chartered Management Institute, Business in the Community, the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership and Accountability. In his previous work Williams has very effectively demonstrated his abilities to develop commercial opportunities, driving growth through the creation of new connections.
