In an article published in RioPlus Business - a magazine commissioned by the Rio Conventions to highlight the role of business in contributing to sustainable development - LEAD argues that vision, innovative thinking and entrepreneurship are among the key behaviours demonstrated by successful leaders.

The article features several case studies of LEAD Fellows including Leonardo Martins Dias, a Brazilian who is hoping to address the issue of social exclusion in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro through a training programme that will develop a new generation of community leaders.
