Mr Singh has received a scholarship from the UN agencies IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development) and the World Initiative for Sustainable Pastoralism (UNDP/ IUCN-WISP) for a "Learning Route" programme in Kenya and Tanzania.
Dr Chitra Rajagopal, Cohort 6
Dr Rajagopal was presented with the 'Scientist of the Year' award by India's Defense Minister in 2011 for work in the areas of explosive and environment safety.
Mr Rahul Chandawarkar, Cohort 10
Mr Chandawarkar received the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award for Environmental Reporting in January 2012. The award was given for Mr Chandawarkar's press campaign on the eco-degradation of the hill stations of Mahabaleshwar-Panchgani in Maharashtra.

Dr Tripathy has been awarded an Ashoka Fellowship.
Dr Madhu Verma, Cohort 12
Dr Verma has been awarded a Fulbright Nehru Environmental Leadership Fellowship.
Ms Bharati Chaturvedi, Cohort 11
Chintan - Ms Chaturvedi's organization - won the prestigious U.S. Secretary of State's Innovation Award for the Empowerment of Women and Girls in February 2012 for its work with wastepickers. The award ceremony will be held in the US during the 2nd week of March.
Mr Krishnendu Bose, Cohort 3
Mr Bose was presented with the Vasundhara Mitra Award for his work on conservation and wildlife films at the inauguration of Krisloskar Vasundhara International Film Festival on 19 February 2012.
Dr Archana Godbole, Cohort 7
AERF – Dr Godbole's organization - has become a Civil Society Organisation Observer for the Climate Investment Fund's Subcommittee of Forest Investment Programme.
Dr Chandra Mohan B, Cohort 11
Tamil Nadu was awarded the National Award for Best Performing State from the National Horticulture Mission. The award was collected by Dr Mohan B on 17 February 2012.

Sudhir K Sinha (LEAD India, Cohort 12) was presented with the CSR Leadership Award at the Blue Dart Global CSR Awards, which were held in Mumbai, India on 18 February 2012.
