LEAD Brazil has just begun its training programme for Cohort 16 Associates, entitled ‘LEAD New Earth Leaders.’ The programme aims to equip leaders with the skills for sustainable decision-making and is based on the principles of the Earth Charter - a statement of the fundamental principles for building a sustainable and peaceful global society.
The first training module took place in September in Mairiporã where the Associates focussed on developing their leadership skills. In October they will travel to Canada for the LEAD International Session on the Green Economy, and in November they will complete Module 3 in Cananéia, where they will focus on Otto Scharmer’s ‘U theory’.
