At present, the program's success can be seen through the significant changes that have happened to its participants. Increased confidence including their ability to communicate more effectively, speak in public and share their thoughts in writing, are among these changes. In addition, there is a visible increase in participants' understanding of the concept of sustainability and sustainable development. This increased understanding is also practiced in their daily activities, including in their interaction with more than 5,000 community member to whom participants share their knowledge and practical skills related to the issues of sustainable development explored in the training.

Ending in May 2011, LEAD International and Indonesia's Bridging Leadership Programme (BLP) in the Aceh region, Indonesia, has produced a group of youth (92 graduates) who have experienced significant change in their life as a result of the program. The BLP team has succeeded in accomplishing the agreed project outcomes through achieving its milestones. One of the factors which contributed to the success of the program was the outstanding management system applied throughout the training. It started with excellent preparation including the formulation of a creative and talented team, baseline studies and the BLP planning workshop. This, accompanied by a focused monitoring and evaluation system, and supported by the effective partnership between the BLP core team, LEAD Indonesia and LEAD International has empowered all team members and produced a superb program that needs to be scaled up.
Numerous great ideas came from the alumni with reference to how to scaling up their activities and they may need future support from both LEAD Indonesia and LEAD International in the form of networking or funding to make these a reality. The achievements of BLP, including its excellent training program that is able to transform the behaviour of participants, could well be scaled up to great effect.
