Biography
Victoria ANTONIU is currently managing Quality Assurance aspects for the Supply Chain Management part of Resolve Corporation in Toronto, Canada. Also, Victoria is intensely involved in the life of her community and she currently Chairs the Board of Directors at Flemingdon Community Agency and facilitates women's groups under the umbrella of the North York Women Centre.
Victoria is a proud mother of two wonderful boys.
Currently Victoria holds the position of the Vice-President and Women Representative for the Don Valley West riding (NDP), Toronto.
Until 2002 Victoria was the Director of the Local Government Program at the Soros Foundation - Moldova. Victoria has consulted the environmental programs and projects promoted and funded by the Foundation.
In 1998, Victoria was involved in the creation of the first Local Agenda 21 in Moldova (Tacis). She also has been involved in the development of mechanisms and procedures for environmental impact assessment (World Bank).
Victoria Antoniu holds a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy from the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. Her Diploma in Biology is from the State University of Moldova in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
