Biography
Brij Mohan Singh RATHORE is a trainer and researcher at the Wildlife Institute of India where he specializes in the area of ecologically sustainable development in the context of protected areas (eco-development). He is responsible for designing and implementing training programs in the area of integrated conservation and development for protected area managers, field staff, NGOs and local communities. He has more than a decade of experience as a field forester and has initiated and developed strategies for joint management of forests by government and local communities. His master's degree in botany is from Agra University and a post graduate diploma in forestry is from the Indian Forest College, Dehra Dun.
