Peter Lindlay CLARKSON

Biography

Peter CLARKSON - Peter currently works for the Government of the Northwest Territories as Regional Director, Department of Executive, for the Beaufort Delta and Sahtu regions. In this position he plays a coordinating and faciliting role with all of the government departments. Previous to this position he was Mayor for the Town of Inuvik from 2000-2006.

With a background in resource management and conservation he is still very active in wildlife and energy conservation.

During the past 3 years he has focused on efficient and effective government programs and services, sustainable community development, and capacity building in rural and remote areas.

He enjoys living in the Arctic and getting out on the land as much as possible,
