Biography

Kirsten Jack is the founder Director of Eco Concierge (www.ecoconcierge.org), a lifestyle management service that supports individuals to lead more sustainable lives. The company has been trading since January 2009, having been developed in 2008, and has been recently featured in Red magazine, Daisy Green, Green my Style, the Next Women and Psychologies magazine.
Kirsten’s work with clients includes all sustainable lifestyle choices, from home insulation, to car purchase and driving, to planning special occasions such as weddings or a new baby. In order to provide a great service and affect genuine change for good, she has developed a database model that can predict client’s green needs and interests based on their lifestyle and values and therefore develop a service tailored to them.
Prior to Eco Concierge, Kirsten’s career includes roles in the UK and internationally for environment and development charities, leading on sustainable planning for a local authority and as a Corporate Responsibility manager for BAA, who run Heathrow. She has a Conservation Biology MSc from the University of Cape Town and is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
She lives in Reading near London with her husband and young son. She enjoys sport, including rugby, triathlons and canoeing, and pottering about on her allotment.
