Sarah Hendel-Blackford

Biography

Sarah Hendel-Blackford is a Senior Consultant on Climate Change and Energy at Ecofys UK. She has a strong policy background with experience in the development of energy and climate change policy (international, national, regional and local level) and adaptation tools for practical implementation across a variety of sectors, as well as sustainable energy policy.
Sarah specialises in climate change impacts and adaptation, and has worked in policy development at European, national, regional and sub‐regional level as well as created adaptation tools and guidance for specific sectors. Sarah lived in Brussels for four years, starting in DG Research in the European Commission and then the European Parliament to work on legislation in the Environment Committee. Whilst in Belgium she completed a Masters in International Politics undertaken in French and English.
