Biography

N’gillan Gbadebo is the Programme Officer at LEAD International. She is part of the LEAD International development team responsible for the co-ordination of international projects delivered by and through the LEAD Network. N’gillan has specific responsibility for projects delivered by the network in Africa, and also those with a focus on urban development issues.

N’gillan has experience working on several high-profile urban regeneration and social housing schemes in the UK. In helping to deliver effective urban renewal projects, her skills were complemented by large scale project management ability such as stakeholder consultation, intra-agency collaboration, and government department liaison. Prior to joining LEAD, she worked with Levitt Bernstein Associates, an award-winning architectural practice with a long-standing commitment to urban renewal, urban ecology, and sustainable cities. Initially joining LEAD as a consultant, N’gillan has worked with the network on a number of projects including seminars for UN-Habitat on Climate Change and Cities, and the recent Climate Change Africa consultations.

Graduate studies include Professional Practice and Management at Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (2003), and Urbanisation and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2006).
