Biography

Jaff Shen is a social entrepreneur with extensive experience in large state-owned company, investment company management, consulting firm, and non-profit organizations; Good government relationship and social capital; Ability to develop and implement strategic plan; Experience in risk control;

The major work of Mr. Shen now is setting up a civil society and social investment supporting organization (Fuping Development Institute and Fuping Foundation) which focus on poverty reduction and sustainable development in China.

Senior economists, famous enterpeurs, experienced CSO leaders such as Professor Mao Yushi, Prof. Wu Jinglian, Prof. Lin Yifu (Justin Lin), Mr. Liu Chuanzhi ( Chinaman of Lenovo Group), Dr. Li lailai ( Director of Institute of Environment and development/ LEAD China) founded FDI, a not-for-profit organization registered in Beijing civil affairs bureau in 2002. Mr. Shen is one of them and CEO of FDI.

The Mission of FDI is helping poverty reduction and sustainable development in China through promoting civil society and social investment development and institutional innovation for a fair harmonious society .
