Biography

Marcus MORRELL is the Founder and Executive Director of Big Picture TV (www.bigpicture.tv), an online video channel dedicated to raising awareness around global sustainability issues. Marcus produced and edited video content, bringing in other content providers to quickly establish a comprehensive archive of informative video content.
Before establishing Big Picture TV in 2003, Marcus ran the research department for the Bridgeman Art Library, the world’s largest supplier of fine art images. Based in New York, he was also in charge of marketing and sales to Latin America.
Prior to this he worked as a financial analyst in Boston, Luxembourg, the Virgin Islands and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He likes travel, languages and culture.
Marcus graduated from the University of East Anglia in 1995 with a BA Hons (2/1) in Art History and Spanish. In 1997 he received a diploma in Business Studies from European Business School (2/1).
