Violeta ORLOVIC

Biography

Violeta ORLOVIC is currently in Seattle, WA, participating in Hubert Humphrey Fellowship, US State Department funded program for professional improvement of mid career professionals. Before that, she was working as training manager on various development projects funded by USAID, with DAI and CHF Serbia. She is also President of Environmental NGO called E - team, where 'E' stands for Environment, Ecology and Education. Within that framework, she is being engaged as environmental consultant in numerous projects, related to social and education aspects of biodiversity, nature conservation and sustainable tourism in Serbia as well as in the Balkans.Violeta used to work in Institute for the Protection of Nature of Serbia, as Head of Department for Education/Communication (1995-2003). During that period, she established valuable international contacts and became member of IUCN Commission on Education and Communication, of IUCN WCPA European Training Task Force, as well as of IUCN CEESP Collaborative Management Working Group (now TGER).Violeta has M.A. in Adult Education, gained at Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro.
