Biography
Kees SCHEP is Technology and Development manager in the Consumer Lifestyle sector of Philips.
Before that, he worked for 10 years in Philips Research in various scientific and management positions.
For his contributions to the Blu-ray Disc standard, he was selected in 2004 by MIT's Technology Review as one of the world's top 100 young innovators under 35.
Kees has a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology. He has published more than 25 papers in scientific journals and was granted 14 US patents.
In 2005, he graduated as Fellow of LEAD International.
