Biography

Mr. Sarmah is the Executive Electrical Engineer in North Eastern Electric Power Corporation, a venture of the Indian Governmnet that is involved with hydo and thermal power projects in seven northeastern states of India. He is responsible for the coordination, execution and monitoring of hydro projects. Mr. Samah holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Assam Egineering College of Guwahati University and has completed introductory courses in chartered financial analysis. In addition, he has attended various training programs in hydro power development. Mr. Sarmah is most interested in water resource development and management, project managemnet and energy within the ddomain of development and environmen.t
