LEAD Knowledge

“Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information on it.”

Samuel Johnson, English author, critic, & lexicographer (1709 - 1784)

The knowledge content of the LEAD programmes encompasses global and local perspectives and is tailored to the national, regional or local context. LEAD participants can access knowledge content from a range of sources and in different formats. On the one hand there is knowledge that is shared by leadership and sustainability professionals who may be keynote speakers, thematic experts or local stakeholders. On the other hand there is knowledge in the form of case studies, papers, articles and selected reading lists that can be downloaded from our on-line sites. We continuously update our knowledge resources. The benefit of being part of the LEAD network is that if you do not know a subject yourself, you can find a LEAD Fellow who does. The LEAD Fellowship Programme is built around the key components of Sustainable Development and Leadership
