LEAD 2.0 - Results Framework Work Stream

The purpose of the Results Framework work stream is to design a monitoring. evaluation and impact assessment system which enables learning in order to improve performance within existing and future work. The system will also provide accountability and proof of impact to partners, funders and participants. The results framework will be developed under an overarching LEAD Theory of Change (ToC) that provides a clear articulation of LEAD's unique analysis of and approach to effecting change in the world.

Progress update:

08/12/11

• The structure of the ISEAL code of practice for Assessing the Impact of Social and Environmental Standards Systems is being reviewed to determine if this may provide a roadmap for assessing how we monitor and evaluate our impact on a consistent basis in the future.

25/11/11

• Janet recently attended a workshop called Project Design and Management through Outcome Mapping: Addressing the dynamics of change in complex environments. The two most relevant objectives of the workshop were outlining an alternative way in which to monitor the achievement of project aims, and providing tools to assist in developing project evaluation plans.

• Key lessons from the workshop will be shared with the rest of the LEAD International team so they can be incorporated into other areas of the LEAD 2.0 process
