LEAD 2.0 - Commercial Modelling and Financing Work Stream
The purpose of the Commercial Modelling and Financing work stream is to design a self-sustaining economic model for LEAD. A central part of this work stream includes managing LEAD's transition from a charity supported through donations to a self-sustaining social enterprise. The work stream will include the definition of the new commercial model, identification of new income streams, growth of existing income streams and the transition of the organisation from its current status to the new model.
Project manager: Mike Ellingham
Team: Graham Ward
Additional support: Jabbar Athar (via Carbon Leapfrog)
Progress update:
• Elements of the future commercial model are being tested with external financial experts to determine their viability.
• An outline Commercial Model has been developed to review the viability of our strategic goal to be commercially self-sustaining by 2015.
• This model is currently being tested and business plans compiled for the implementation of the various components of the plan.
