Biography
Teten W. Avianto is a systems analyst, proficient in system thinking and system dynamics modeling. He works as researcher on sustainable development policy analysis, environment and watershed management at Laboratory for Environment and Development.
Currently, he is a system dynamics adviser at UNDP - CPRU supporting Aceh Nias reconstruction and rehabilitation.
Adviser to PT. Wijaya Karya (one of the biggest national construction company) on corporate policy modeling with system dynamics. (2003 - 2005)
Ass. Lecturer of system dynamics at Development Studies Program - Bandung Institut Of Technology
Researcher at the Center for Research on Material and Energy at Bandung Institute of Technology.
Previously, he worked as consulting engineer and researcher in the field of hydrology, environment and development at the Center for Development Dynamics at Padjadjaran University.
He worked in around Indonesia tropical forest as hydrologist and environmental specialist.
Finalist of Man and Biosphere, UNESCO, 2003.
Finalist of Indonesian Young Researcher, Indonesia Institute of Science, 1997.
He graduated from agricultural engineering at Padjadjaran University and then get Master of Technology in Development Studies from the Bandung Institute of Technology.
