Biography
Radwan, Ahmed Hosney is an Egyptian Architect. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Department of Architecture,College of Fine Arts, Helwan University where he has been teaching various courses since 1994. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Architectural Department , College of Engineering Sciences, At Misr International University(MIU), since 2007.In 2008 He joined the Construction and Architectural Engineering Department at the American University in Cairo, where he works there as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.
Dr. Radwan Finished his PHD thesis titled 'Participatory design towards the development of Egyptian village architecture'. His research projects were mainly concerned with rural development in Egypt,community participation in housing design and planning. He has also worked on several commercial and residential projects as an Architectural Consultant and planner.
Dr. Radwan holds also a Masters Degree in Architecture from the College of Fine Arts, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt.
After Attending Four regional Trainning sessions in Pakistan , two international trainning sessions in Mexico and Uk , and a midterm trainning Session in the Asian intstitute of Technology AIT, Bangcok, Thailand he was graduated in April 2004 from the Imperial College of London , Wye , Kent ,United Kingdom as a LEAD Fellow of the tenth Cohort.
Dr. Radwan is now a Practicing Architect, & planner ,he has a Private consultancy institution , where he works in several projects in Egypt & Some Arabian Countries, like Sudan , UAE ,KSA ...etc
