International Session in South Africa (2010)

Fellows and participants of our most recent International Session in South Africa (2010) singing the ‘Shosholoza song’ South Africa's ‘second national anthem’ and certainly the anthem of that session.

Presentation Example

An example of a working group presentation from our most recent International Session in South Africa (2010), examining the sustainability of a local agricultural project. These presentations were given in a setting involving the people responsible for the projects and challenges and opportunities were discussed in an open forum. In some cases the Fellows continued to work with the local partners to improve the sustainability of their projects.

Community Challenges

This video produced by LEAD Francophone Africa outlines some of the challenges faced by the communities that LEAD is working in as well as how LEAD is responding by building their capacity to respond to the effects of climate change.

Leaders Snapshot

Snapshot of how leaders approach challenges. Here, LEAD Fellows explain how their group overcame a frustrating situation during the 2008 LEAD International Session in Mexico City, and how their way of working through the problem has influenced their personal styles of leadership.
