HIDAYAT formally is an institutional development specialist. He has various worked experiences with Indonesia nature conservation and advocacy NGOs/CBOs. He has worked with WWF Indonesia Project on Kerinci Seblat National Park which covered 1.4 million hectare square areas in 4 four Provinces in Sumatra (Jambi, West Sumatra, Bengkulu, and South Sumatra) as communication and conservation promotion coordinator. He has also worked with WWF Indonesia Project on Gunung Leuser National Park that covered 1.7 million hectare square in 2 Provinces in Sumatra (North Sumatra and Special Provinces of Aceh) as communication and environmental education project leader. Then he collaborated with WALHI (Indonesia Environmental Forum) National Secretary for set-up communication strategic by using momentum of Indonesia reformation era.
Other worked with Japan Foundation Jakarta as NGO liaison coordinator for grant scheme to Strengthen civil society such as nature conservation, human right, and community art in East Timor (Timor Leste) and Irian Jaya. He hired with PACT Indonesia Program as consultant for organization capacity to advocacy NGO. In BirdLife International Indonesia Program he worked as networking development specialist. Nowadays he posted as communication specialist with Brussels Consulting Company Agrer in Project of Integrated Conservation and Development Program Kerinci Seblat National Park that funded by World Bank. He is bachelor in education from Jakarta Teacher College and postgraduate course in environmental education from Strathclyde University-Jordan hill Campus, Scotland-UK.
