Dr. Memon obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from City University, London, UK He is currently the Vice-Chancellor at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology in Jamshoro. He also holds a Master's degree in Electronic Circuits and Systems from the Bath University of Technology, Bath, UK. Dr. Memon has extensive experience in research, teaching, and administration at various institutes such as Mehran University, Sindh University, and the Mara Institute of Technology in Malaysia. He has written greatly on topics related to computers and engineering. He has also attended several international conferences and workshops regarding information technology. Dr. Memon has also undertaken a number of consultancy projects for companies and organizations. One such project was RINSCA (Regional Informative Networking for South and Central Asia), in which he was a member of a Pakistani government delegation that worked with other countries' delegations and UNESCO.
