ZOU Xinqing, is a Professor of the Department of Urban and Resource Studies at the Nanjing University. His major research interest is Coastal management. He is now the coordinator of two CIDA funded projects related to coastal management in China.

He has built close links with World Bank Institute in the training of Environmental Economics and Policies since year 2000. He was also an adjunct Professor in the Environmental Faculty of the University of Waterloo in the year 2002, where he was invited to give a full course on Sustainable Development in Developing World.

Xinqing has a Ph.D. in Geology and completed postdoctoral work at the Nanjing University in the area of marine science. He is now one of the Board members in LEAD-China.
