Umar is the President of Keytab Consulting Services Limited, a Leadership and Management Development organisation based in Nigeria.He is an international Leadership and Management Consultant and has worked in over 30 countries across five continents.

He was a Senior Consultant and Team Leader in the Organisational Training and Skills Development Team in ReStraL Consulting. His responsibilities included business development, marketing and development of capacity building products.

A seasoned Facilitator of Leadership and Management Development Programmes, Umar developed several training products and product lines in the firm. He coordinated the effective delivery of training programmes in the team responsible for disseminating knowledge and building capacity in people.

He developed and participated in a number of attitudinal/ culture change programmes aimed at translating corporate strategy to reality.

Prior to joining ReStraL Consulting, Umar worked in the Sales and Marketing Departments of Pfizer Products Plc., Colgate Palmolive and Swiss Pharma Nigeria Limited (formerly ROCHE) as a District Manager, Area Manager and Product Manager, respectively.

He is a Pharmacist and has a Bachelor Of Pharmacy degree(1988) and an MBA from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Nigeria. He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and a Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria.

His interests include:Leadership/Management Development, Facilitation of Leadership/Management Capacity Building Sessions and Strategic Planning Sessions.
