Turid H. TRONBOEL is now employed at a privat consulting office with focus on intellectual property rights and innovation, with special focus on patent rights, helping clients with patent strategies and write and submit patent applications.

She was for one and a half year employed at the Ministry og Trade and Industry as an adviser. She worked with issues related to innovation in general and in perticular SME and training and information strategies related to these groups. She also worked on industrial reseach strategies for Norway in the field of energy and environment as well as more general governmental administration.

She was for five years employed at the Norwegian Patent Office. The organisation deals with industrial property rights, patents, designs and trademarks. She was the last years head of a section in the patent departement, that job included beein a part of the management team of the department, management reseponsibilities for 18 people, project leader, training and lecturing.

Her environmental interests include renewable energy production, energy production and waste management. She has a MSc in mechanical engineering from NTH/NTNU (the University of Trondheim). She did part of her studies at Cranfield University in the UK.
