Raoul Amatevi Klutse is an agricultural economist with over 15 years of experience in agricultural development, statistical and economic analysis, and information systems management.
He has been working since 1998 at the International Center for Soil Fertility and Agricultural Development as Information System Manager for the profitability of agricultural input use in Africa. For this purpose, he is developing a decision support tool, which allows the users to be aware of the possibilities to invest in agriculture in its sustainable manner, and to monitor the profitability of input use over time and space. He is also coordinating the AFAMIN network activities in West Africa through the management of the site www.afamin.net as well as working on the edition of the liaison bulletin of AFAMIN Togo.
Since January 2005, he is confirmed as in-country Coordinator for an USAID project (MISTOWA)related to Agricultural Market Information Systems (MIS) and Trade Organization (TO) .
Basically trained in the areas of agricultural economy at the University of Lome, Togo, he specialized in agricultural policy analysis at IDEP Dakar, Senegal and received on job trainings on database design and management at the University of Wageningen, The Netherlands and some specific courses on the website design and management, lobbying and advocacy for development.
He is founder member of Togo Lead Association and is the current General Secretary. He is author or co-author of some ten scientific documents.
