Ana Paula S. Queiroz is from São Paulo, Brazil and has a bachelor's degree in biological sciences specialising in environmental management and a MSc in microbiology from the University of São Paulo. She has worked in environmental education and has developed scientific work in environmental microbiology, specifically determining virological indicators of domestic pollution. She worked for two years at ERM on a soil bioremediation project as well as on environmental management system implementation. Today Ana works at Waterloo Brasil - a Canadian organisation, on underground water resource management as well as contaminated site investigation and remediation.
