Alex LANGSHUR was the Vice President of Alantris Corporation, a technology consulting services company. Mr. Langshur headed the e-strategies practice within the firm, specializing in assisting clients leverage internet and web technologies through all aspects of their organization. Prior to joining Alantris, he was Vice-President of the US Division of Consilium2K, an internet strategy and Y2K mediation consulting firm.
Mr. Langshur held the position of director of informatics and strategic projects with the Canadian Chemical Producers Association (CCPA) in Canada. Previously, he has worked for the federal government at both the Treasury Board and Natural Resources Canada and was an exploration geologist looking for minerals throughout northern Canada on behalf of major mining and exploration companies.
A. Langshur has a master's degree in earth sciences from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor's in honors geology from McGill University in Montreal. He is the recipient of both an NSERC and Fonds FCAR award, as well as an academic scholarship from the University of Ottawa.
