Aneshimode Leslie ADOGAME is the first Executive Secretary in charge of the management and administration of the Nigerian Environmental Society(NES), a leading professional, non-profit, environmental NGO. Prior to this position, he was served as a Research Associate with Prof.M.K.C. Sridhar of the Environmental Health department,University College Hospital, University of Ibadan and at another time a Quality Control/Production Officer to the West African Distillers Limited(WADL), Lagos. He has also served as a Consultant to a number of firms in Nigeria concerned with environment and health matters.

Adogame has published four (4) technical papers and also written extensively in professional journals as well as leading educational materials, newspapers in Nigeria and USA. He has done detail research work on the study of Lead and other heavy metals in the indoors and outdoors environment in Nigeria. An interest which led to his pioneering of a 'Lead Study Group' based at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.

He is presently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Public Health with research into 'Assessment and quantification of Petroleum Products emmissions and their associated environmental health impacts on humans in Lagos, Nigeria'. He has acquired wide experience in volunteerism while coordinating a national youth empowerment programme on Environmental Protection and Awareness Clubs(EPACs) in schools.

A.L. Adogame has a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry (1990) and a master's degree in Public Health (1997).
