Adeshina Waheed SADIQ is presently working with Shell Canada Energy as HSSE Team Leader. He worked previously with Jacobs Canada Inc as Project HSE Manager.

Before joining Jacobs Canada Inc. in October 2006, he worked with Conoil Plc for about seven years before relocating to Canada.

He served Conoil Plc. as Aviation Field Superinetendent (North), Safety and Environmental Officer, the Area Business Engineer for Warri Business Area covering seven states (Edo, Delta, Anambra,Enugu,Kogi,Ebonyi & Benue States)and also the Aviation Engineer.
He also worked with Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, Apapa from May 1993 to September 1999 as Management Trainee and later Assistant Maintenance Manager (Cement Mechanical Division).

He is a mechanical engineer by training with both bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Lagos, where he also had a post graduate diploma in health, safety and environment.

He is a registered professional engineer with Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicsists of Alberta Canada (APEGGA) and Council of regulation of engineering in Nigeria (COREN. He is also a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)
