Valeria Cristina SALLES is an independent consultant and development facilitator. Her major expertise is in supporting planning, monitoring and evaluation participatory processes. She also works as consultant for project management, institutional building and leadership capacity building. She has worked in several countries, particularly Brazil, Germany and Southern African countries. She works through on-the-job training, team building courses and organizational development, as well as increasing leadership capacity through a focus on lobbying, public relations and civic education. Her interests include international cooperation policy related to the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environment in African countries. After living in Brazil until 1996, she has lived in Mozambique, Tanzania, South Africa, Germany and now resides in France.
V.C. Salles has completed a Master's degree in Social Development Management at the University of Cape Town, in South Africa, with political leadership in Africa as major topic.
