Anne CHISHAWA, an ecologist with the NGO (SAFIRE), Southern Alliance for Indigenous Resources, is head of the Information/Monitoring and Evaluation Section. She holds an MSC degree in aquaculture and previous work experience includes a position held for 8 years as an economist with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management of Zimbabwe. She has special interest in ecology, the CITES Convention and community based natural resources management. One of her future plans is to acquire a PhD through pursuing the issues of community based natural resources management.
