Rachel ZOCLY was a news reporter and presenter at Radio Tokpa, a private radio station in Cotonou, Benin. She also reportsed on parliamentary activities for the station at Porto-Novo the second town city of her country.

From 1999 to 2000, Rachel worked at Radio Weke, one of the first Fm launched in her country. She was in charged of a gender programm which presented women from diverse sectors who succeedded in their professional life.

Rachel had a BA in American studies and American history from the National Benin University (1999). She had followed up her keen interest in communications with years of training and many workshops in radio production and journalism. She has a Certificate from CESTI, institute of Journalism located in Dakar, (SENEGAL). She attended numerous seminars on various subjects among which the national plan for Malaria eradication in 2001 , Workshop with deputies of the national assembly on the european union and and the EU onvention of Cotonou. She followed also a workshop at the african represention of Radio Netherland located in Benin.

Founder member of the association of journalists for health issues in Benin, she regurlarly published issues on sustainable development in diverse newspapers, and periodical of her country.

Her interests lied also with the gender issues, educating children, and communication for social change.

For two years, she taught english for pupils in a private school in Porto-novo.

She liked discussing , travelling and discussing.

Her keen to reading helped her to write poems and novels which she plan to publish in some years.

Rachel had visited many countries such as Nigeria, Senegal, Togo,USA, Ghana ,Cote D'Ivoire ,France and Mexico. She had visited almost all the cities of her country Benin.
