Timothy Okoro ANIEBONAM is the Founder and Coordinator of Global Agenda for Total Emancipation (GATE), an NGO involved in grassroots mobilization and emancipation. He is also a Development Communication Consultant with Kollage Communications, a media consulting firm. He had earlier worked for the National Directorate Headquarters of the National Youth Service Corps as a Marketing Officer in the Printing Press, and was also at one time a Communications Consultant at Eagle View African Theatre, an NGO based in Abuja.

He holds a bachelor's degree in dramatic arts from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in dramatic performance at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Timothy is a member of the Civil Society Consultative Group on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, and also a member of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners.
