Abiodun Olusola SALAMI is a lecturer in Botani and Microbiology, University of Ibadan. She is involved in research on application of the newly emerging biotechnologies, especially, how mycorrhizal biotechnology can be used as alternative to chemical fertilizer.

Before joining the University, she taught at the Secondary School level in Oyo and Osun State of Nigeria between 1992 and 1997. She has special interest in contributing in the area of increasing and sustaining the productivity of land as well as improving its use, which is of relevance to LEAD in sustainable development.

A. Salami holds a National Certificate of Education, B.Sc. (Ed.) Biology, M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Botany.
