Adesuwa ONYENOKWE began her professional career as a teacher in Bendel State in 1984. She entered into broadcasting in 1985 and has since remained a television journalist/broadcaster.
After fifteen years in paid employment in the broadcasting industry, Adesuwa decided to set up a firm, with television programs and documentary producers which currently has one running chart show on NTA 2 Channel 5 Titled - 'Today's Women with Adesuwa' In addition, Adesuwa co-hosts, two popular day-time shows on the same station.
With a degree in dramatic arts and a master's degree in language arts, communication as a tool for development has always been her main interest; an interest that has shown in the care and concern she takes in packaging reports or programs with the viewer in mind - the same diligence that won her an award in 1994.
