Adedayo Ayodele AYORINDE is the Project Manager of the Sustainable Ibadan Project (SIP), a Project implemented by the Oyo State Government and the eleven (11) Local Governments in Ibadan City, supported by UN-(Habitat) and UNDP. He is responsible for the management and administration of the Project.
Before moving to SIP in February 2000, he was the Project Officer for the UNICEF assisted Urban Basic Services Project in Oyo State. He also acted as the Assistant Director in charge of Urban Development Section in the Town Planning Department of the Oyo State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources. His interest and work experience in the past few years have made him to work as a Participatory Planner promoting sustainable development of poor communities in Ibadan City and environs through the involvement of all stakeholders in addressing wide range environmental issues of concern especially on water supply and waste management issues
A.A. Ayorinde is a Professional Town Planner by training, with a master's Degree from the University of Ibadan.
