Abimola Abibat JIJOHO-OGUN is the Chief Scientific Officer of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) and is personal assistant to the general manager/chief executive officer there. She has delivered several papers on environment and development in Nigeria. Her interests include biodiversity conservation, pollution control and management, environmental impact and audit analysis, waste management and sustainable development. Formerly a high school principal, A.A. Jijoho-Ogun received her master's degree in zoology from the University of Ibadan and a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Lagos. She is now the Secretary, Nigerian Environmental Society, Lagos Chapter.
