Adefolake Y. Okediran is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria where she had taught and researched into Environment and Development Law as well as Employment Law and Gender Rights.
She attended the University of Ife, Nigeria, where she received an LLB Law degree and an LLM. Master's degree in Law as well as another Master's degree from the University of Ibadan,Ibadan, Nigeria in Industrial and Labor Relations.

She is also a Consultant in Environmental Law,Gender and Development and is actively
involved in various NGO activities in Gender and Community Rights Empowerment and Youth Development such as the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA)Oyo State,Nigeria and Educare Trust,Nigeria.

She is also actively engaged in Research&Documentation of Women,Environment and Natural Resource Governance Issues.She is Co-founder of a campus based environmental NGO:Clean Earth Society(CES,UI).As a Director of Gender,Development and Environment Consult (GENDEV CONSULT),Nigeria which is a pro-activity based law firm working on Sustainability development issues through socio-legal interventions at all levels of society,she has been actively involved in pro-bono legal counselling with the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria South West Zone,HIV-AIDS Prevention and Legal Rights Counselling and Rights Advocacy for
People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs)
in South-West,Nigeria.

She is presently resident in the UK and is seeking to network with LEAD Fellows and other organisations and persons who are committed to Poverty Reduction and Sustainable Livelihoods in the Economically vulnerable societies.
