Veronique Deli is currently in a mid term carrer break, maturing a couple of proyects befor deciding on her future direction.

From early 2001, Veronique Deli was apointed as Representative for the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT), before the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), based in Paris, France. She is responsible as well for the relationship of SEMARNAT with the EU and WTO regarding environmental and sustainable development issues. She held this position until July 2010. Previously, Veronique Deli was in charge of the OECD, CSD, the EU, at the Unit for International Affairs in the former SEMARNAP. Prior to this post, she worked for the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources in Mexico. She was appointed as Agricultural Attaché at the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture, Permanent Representation in Washington D.C., and was later posted also as Agricultural Attaché at the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture permanent representation in Brussels, Belgium. She has a bachelor's degree in international relations from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), and a master's in studies of the third world, with an emphasis on international economic relations, from the Centro de Estudios Economicos y Sociales del Tercer Mundo (CEESTEM).
