Professor Angulo is the author of several published works, including 'Econom�a Pol�tica de la Naturaleza,� �Econom�a, Entrop�a y Agricultura Org�nica,� 'Agricultura Sostenible en Mexico y sus Nexos con el Mercado Internacional' and 'Modelo de Desarrollo Rural, Integral y Sostenible'. In the past, he has worked as a professor and researcher in the agricultural economics department of the Universidad de Colima where he conducted research in the field of sustainable development and organic agriculture. Currently, Professor Angulo is working on completing his 'Theory on the Political Economy of Nature' and would like to extend the model of sustainable development to other regions of Mexico. He is also involved in regional development projects in rural communities in the northern part of Guanajuato State as well as the certification of organic products and standards related to organic agriculture. Professor Angulo's major area of interest lies in the development, certification and promotion of organic products and organic agriculture. He is actively involved in establishing a natural area for managing cacti in the desert. In addition, Professor Angulo serves as Assistant Director of Productivity Diversification on Natural Resources within the Ecology National Institute.
